Sweet little Averie came to the studio the other day and was only 8 days old!
She brought her big brother in for a few pictures too.
He decided to go play with his Daddy for a while so we could get baby Avery to sleep! It took a little while but we got her to calm down and pose her for the adorable bunny hat and carrots that her Mommy brought because she was born right before Easter Sunday. How cute is that hat?! Love it.
I was about to turn her a bit so we could get a different angle and then she SMILED!! It was sooo cute! Sleepy newborn smiles are the best!
After we took a few shots, she soon woke up and was in a much better mood. Just staring at us with her sweet little face.
I love the colors in this one. She is officially the youngest newborn in my new little space! Thanks for visiting me sweet little Averie Anne!
A while back Cooper and Rex came out to the orchard to get some pictures taken. We fit in a few and then baby Rex decided it was time for his bed... He goes to sleep at 7:30 p.m. and sleeps through the night... and takes a daytime nap! Needless to say, I am a bit jealous and wish my kids went to sleep that early! ;)
I got one big smile out of him before we left...
and made sure to get a few with his big brother... We decided to do some indoor mid morning pictures the following weekend since the golden hour wasn't his golden hour...
This is when it has been nice to have an indoor studio space as well as an outdoor space to shoot. Some babies just aren't happy in the evenings, and that's okay! I am pretty flexible and want to make sure my clients get some good pics to leave with so I am open to working with a baby's schedule.
I love the simplicity of some of these indoor shots. His eyes just pop with that cute blue shirt, don't they?
We got a few inside with his big brother too... It is a small space, but we made it work! Such cuties! I just love their smiles... :)
This was the first cake smash session I did in the studio. I had so much fun setting it up! I was going to make my own cake, but it sadly didn't turn out good enough for pictures... I am going to work on that! Luckily our local grocery store had a cute already made cake that matched my set-up. :)
It cracks me up how each one year old is so different with their cake smash... Miss Amelia was so dainty eating her cake... she just took her little fingers and dipped them in the frosting and looked at us like, "Are you sure this is okay, Mama?"
We assured her it WAS okay so she decided to dive right in. Who needs to use their hands anyway?!
Even after dipping her face in the cake, she still hardly made a mess!
Happy Birthday Miss Amelia! I can't believe you are one already!
