This year we had Christmas at our house. We scrubbed and cleaned every room the week or two before and our house has never looked cleaner! I was extremely tired from the busy week and all of the cleaning and when we finally finished it was 10:30 at night before the kids all fell asleep Christmas Eve so I could get up and wrap all of the presents. Sigh. It took over 2 hours for me to finish wrapping things. Ironically it took them less than a half an hour to open them all up! :)
I love Christmas morning with the kids and know when they grow up I will miss it so much! It is so much fun shopping for the kids but I hate the wrapping part! Maybe next year I will have a wrapping party and it will be more fun!
I saw this cookbook when I went to a Christmas craft class at Giggle This Studios. I can't wait to try to cook some recipes with Kaia and Ethan! It explains in simple terms and has step by step instructions on what to do for the recipes. So cool! Kaia has been begging me for months to let me have her help me in the new kitchen so I am hoping this will help make it an enjoyable experience for both of us.
Nora has been obsessed with babies everywhere we go if she sees a baby she grabs my hand and begs to go see the baby! Then she just sits and stares and smiles. So when I was out shopping with my sister and saw these cute twin baby dolls, I knew she would love them!
Ethan is easy to please. Anything LEGOS or Star wars are great for him. He has always loved to build so I also found some Transformers that you had to put together piece by piece. The longer it takes him and the more challenging the set, the more he loves it and is so proud when he is done. He loves to read the instructions page by page and always figures them out. Maybe he'll be a future architect like his Dad or a master builder like his Poppa someday? We'll see.
It's nice that he still gets excited about toys and opening presents. He is getting older and I can see it not being so exciting for him in the near future.
I had bought all of the kids cute Christmas pajamas because I was going to do a milk and cookies themed photo shoot out at the Christmas tree farm, but it got too cold, and I got too busy finishing Christmas shopping, photo editing and ordering and cleaning... maybe next year?
Kien is super easy to please, get him a new costume and you get this smile on his face!
He loves dressing up and I am loving watching his imagination go wild!
Later that evening we had my husbands family over for Christmas dinner, but I will post about that later... but here is a sneak peek at our table! ;) Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!
