We have been hanging out on the side porch a lot since we planted our mini garden and started cleaning the place up. It still has a long way to go, but it looks so much better already! I hung up some fabric bunting because EVERYTHING looks better with bunting! I just take it down before it rains. This particular morning we had cereal in cups and just hung out together with no real plans.
The garden is doing really well so far, but somebody keeps picking the tomatoes before they turn red... I wonder if we will ever see a red tomato this summer! :)
This is how she looked after I scolded her for picking the green tomatoes. :(
We planted a few more flowers that we got a few days before.
Planting can get a little messy, but they had fun and that's what counts, right?!
After we planted the flowers, we started on a project I saw on instagram. The link to the tutorial on the bird feeder that we made is here. If you don't follow me on instagram you can! Just search katherinebach. You should also follow amandarydell! I love her color and project inspiration... she has great style!
Kien had fun and you could tell he really liked painting and gathering the sticks to use.
Kaia was frustrated at first because she wanted it to look "perfect" but eventually got over it and had fun too.
Nora decided she wanted to join in the fun but since it was permanent paint, I decided to take her new swimsuit off.
Haugue's paint had a sale on sample paints, so we got our paint there.
Kien thought they made good light sabers. :0
It was a fun project, but I think Amanda Rydell's turned out much better!
